Urban Utopias Reimagined
The June edition of Render Royale closed out our first season with some spectacular works. From futuristic visions of LA to nature reclaiming its rightful place in the world â we had exceptional artists from around the world join in our monthly rendering contest.
Using Octane Render, Redshift, and Blender Cycles on render.x.io to create their pieces, the Render Network has helped bring to life artistic visions.
Last month there were limited entires on Redshift and Cycles, but this month we had our judges working overtime to sift through every render engine category!
First place (x3) = $1000 USDC
Second Place (x3) = $500 USDC
Third (x3)= $250 USDC
Our judges, Annibale Siconolfi (Architecturally inspired visionary) Amrit Pal Singh (Toy Faces), Jess Wiseman (Blender educator & artist), and Matt Milstead (mograph.com) cast their votes.

Explores whether machines can carry traces of humanity and whether something artificial can hold onto a memory. In a time where even light seems to have forgotten itself, we drift in a fog of digital amnesia, and the machines echo that state.
Each turning piece moves like a pulse left over from another time. It keeps going, but no longer knows why. This work stands as a quiet lament for how far weâve drifted from nature, from meaning. Here, light doesnât save. Maybe it deceives. And somewhere deep inside that illusion, the machines still try silently, endlessly to remember us. Maybe even themselves.

The rest are abandoned â left to survive the ruins of a war-torn city built on broken promises. The Utopian Lie follows the quiet defiance of those cast aside, walking barefoot through a manufactured dream that was never meant for them.
