Render Network at Christie’s Art + Tech Summit

Christie’s 10th Art + Tech Summit was a landmark two day event held at the iconic Radio City Music Hall, bringing together a global community of founders, creators, investors, collectors, and industry leaders to explore the evolving relationship between art and technology. Render Network was proud to be a featured partner alongside Apple and a16z, showcasing its decentralized GPU infrastructure with live demos and case studies at the summit.

Huge thanks to everyone that stopped by the Render Network booth for live demos, case studies, and to learn more about the network!

Render Network advisor Richard Kerris on “The Machine Mind” panel with Ali Farhadi, the scientific research institute CEO of the Allen Institute for AI -

One of the standout moments came from OctaneRender and Render Network power user Refik Anadol, who took the stage during the “Exploring Frontiers” panel with filmmaker Darren Aronofsky and Christie’s Global Head of Ventures, Devang Thakkar.

Refik shared how memory, emotion, and machine intelligence are reshaping public art -

His newest piece, Living Memory: Messi — A Goal in Life Experience with Lionel Messi, was front and center throughout the event.

The work reimagines Messi’s legendary header from the 2009 Champions League Final, brought to life with nine AI models that combine vision, sound, natural language, sentiment analysis, and 3D spatial computing. The piece is a powerful testament to how tech can preserve and amplify shared emotional moments.

The artwork auctioned at $1.8 million, with proceeds going to the Inter Miami CF Foundation, and a private signing experience for the buyer with Messi and Refik in Miami. The piece is a reminder of what can happen when art, sport, technology, and community all come together .

Stay tuned for the full event recap dropping next week!
