From Amrit’s upcoming talk to NVIDIA’s latest breakthroughs this week, the future of making is looking wild — let’s get into it:

AI at the Frontier of Science, Art & Society

At RenderCon 2025, Jules Urbach, Emad Mostaque, and Richard Kerris took the stage for AI at the Frontier of Science, Art & Society to discuss how creation, computation, and control are converging in the age of decentralized AI.

Read the full blog recap:

The Layered Future of AI

Emad Mostaque called for open, sovereign AI aligned with human flourishing, announcing SAGE, the Sovereign AI Governance Engine.

Jules Urbach built on that vision, describing how world models and neural rendering are converging toward real-time, holodeck-like environments powered by decentralized GPUs.

Together, they outlined a future where creativity, compute, and sovereignty collide.

10/27 X Space: RNP-021: Expanding Render Network’s Compute Power for the AI Era + Simulon

Render Network Foundation’s Head of Operations Tristan Relly joined this week’s spaces to break down the details of RNP-021, a proposal designed to expand the Render Network’s capacity to serve enterprise-grade AI and ML workloads.

The plan reflects a major milestone in the network’s evolution, scaling from a decentralized rendering ecosystem into a compute layer for AI inference, simulation, and research.

Divesh Naidoo, founder of Simulon, also joined to discuss his next-gen 3D creation platform built for distributed workflows.

From Everydays to LACMA

Fifteen years after starting his Everydays, Beeple’s work now fills museum walls at LACMA, a full-circle moment for digital art and the creative tools that powered it.

  • Beeple’s “Diffuse Control” is currently being featured in a solo exhibition at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

DATALAND Previews the world’s first museum for AI + Digital Art

On the heels of Beeple’s opening of Diffuse Control at LACMA, the weekend before in downtown LA, Refik Anadol opened the doors to DATALAND for a preview of the world’s first museum dedicated to AI and digital art — which includes a 2-billion pixel fully immersive infinity room and giant screens where the public can explore Refik’s Large Nature Model.

  • 80 Level recently spotlighted Render as the platform for creators to render faster and more affordably with Blender Cycles, Redshift, and OctaneRender.

NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang Takes the Stage in D.C.

NVIDIA announced that new Blackwell chips are being produced in the U.S., and that AI infrastructure needs to scale for the next industrial revolution.

Provenance in the Age of Deepfakes
This week, a fake livestream of NVIDIA’s keynote drew nearly 100,000 viewers, more than the real one. It’s a stark reminder of why provenance matters.

Provenance, in digital media, means using metadata, cryptographic signatures, or blockchain records to verify the authenticity of an image, video, or render.

The vision is for the Render Network to play a future role where content can be verified at its source, ensuring creators can provide authorship and audiences can trust what they see.

XR Motion Takes NYC

XR Motion, the platform empowering 3D artists with tools, tutorials, and community — just hosted its first-ever conference in New York City, sponsored by Render Network. The event brought together top voices in motion design and immersive storytelling.

Stay tuned for this month’s report for a recap.

Upcoming Events

  • Motion Plus Design Paris: Nov 8
The Render Network Foundation’s Sunny Osahn will take the stage to discuss the intersection of motion design, decentralized rendering, and AI in Paris, the final of three global MPD conferences sponsored by the Foundation in 2025.
  • RenderCon 2026 — April 16 & 17, Nya Studios, Hollywood, CA
Mark your calendars for the next RenderCon — where art, technology, and human imagination meet to shape what’s next.
